Counseling and Student Success

The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) strive to instill an institutional culture of support and awareness by providing holistic programs and services to students, faculty, and staff. We deliver equitable services by creating a safe and inclusive environment to the CCM community. Through a wellness approach, counselors will partner with students to identify goals and skills that will help them become successful in and out of the classroom.

When meeting with a counselor, students will have the opportunity to grow and develop an individualized plan to achieve educational success. Services available to students are:

  • Academic Skill Building (e.g., study strategies, time management, test anxiety)
  • Career Exploration
  • Events and Presentations on Current Topics
  •  Guidance for NJ STARS Students
  • Personal skill building and resource connection
  • Support for students Returning from Academic Dismissal
  • Support Groups
