Cooperative Education and Internships
Cooperative education and internship experiences offer students opportunities to integrate work experience and classroom instruction through partnerships between employers and the college.
Each participating academic department assigns a faculty advisor who works with the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education to identify positions that are commensurate with the goals of the instructional program, the needs of the employer and the skills of the student.
Students interested in participating in a cooperative educational learning experience must:
- Be matriculated in County College of Morris (CCM) majors that offer co-ops and/or internships
- Have completed most of the coursework in their majors at CCM
- Have cumulative averages of 2.0 or better, and
- Have the approval of their academic departments
Cooperative Education and/or Internship experiences are offered in the following areas:
Media Studies, Broadcasting
Culinary Arts and Sciences
Digital Media Technology
Early Childhood Development
Early Childhood Education
Electronics Engineering Technology
Landscape and Horticultural Technology
Mechanical Engineering Technology
Telecommunications Systems Technology
