Title IX, Section 504 and Americans with Disabilities Act

County College of Morris (CCM) policies prohibit discrimination against any individual covered by protected classifications under federal or state law. CCM supports the protections available to members of its community under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, accommodations for disabled students will be made through interactive collaborative intake meeting. Students will self-identify to the Office of Accessibility Services. Accommodations may include, but are not limited to,  extended time for tests, sign language interpreters, and assistive technologies. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, CCM prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in employment, public services and transportation, public accommodations and telecommunications, including age pursuant to the Age Discrimination Act.
